After knocking myself out all of June to get stuff ready for the IDEX show it would have been really cool to take some time off and relax. However, I had made the (enthusiastic) mistake of telling my brother-in-law (who is a RenFaire costuming fiend) we could make some
Warcaster armor out of fiberglass castings.
So - All of July was spent sculpting the pieces, and all of August has been molding them. We are desperately trying to get it all finished in time for
Dragon*Con. So far I have all of the parts sculpted and molded with silicon/plaster molds and will start casting the resin tomorrow.
September will be a complete change of gears (once again). I will be starting an all new project that has been cooking for a long time and will be posting a production diary of the process on the
blog site here as well as the production art to my DeviantART gallery. Stay tuned!
